  • What biblical basis provides guidance for congregations in a multi-ethnic society?

  • How has the church in Norway met the multi-ethnic society until now?

  • What can a credible testimony of unity in Jesus look like in practice?

Speakers

Dr. Derwin L. Gray

Derwin Gray is the founder and lead pastor of Transformation Church (www.TransformationChurch.tc), a multi-ethnic and mission-focused community in South Carolina. Derwin is married to Vicky and they have two grown children. Gray has played professional American football in the National Football League. He has a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in the New Testament from Northern Seminary. Gray has written several books, including “Building a multiethnic Church” and “How to heal the racial divide”.

Stian Sørli Eriksen

Professor at VID and the Høyskolen for Ledelse og Teologi.

Field of study: Missiology, Pentecostal theology and spirituality, migration and religion. Research area: Migrant congregations, missiology, Pentecostal theology and spirituality

Background: PhD in theology and religion from VID University of Science (VID), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts (M.A.) in Pentecostal studies, and Bachelor of Arts ( B.A.) from Oral Roberts University (ORU), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Teaching experience from college/university, vocational school, Bible school, upper secondary school, etc.
